Induz marks their 10-year anniversary of community service in 2014. This local bay area charity provides global learning through the arts for underprivileged children at local low-income schools. On February 21st 2014, the ceremony not only honored their volunteers, but also welcome a few special guests! Guests of honor included Senate Majority Leader Ellen M. Corbett; Ro Khanna, Former Assistant Deputy Secretary in the Obama Administration; and Anu Natarajan, Vice Mayor of the City of Fremont and Advisory Board Member of Induz.

Induz Volunteers were recognized in three areas: Presidential Volunteer Service Award, Art Angel Award for outstanding support, and Volunteer of the Year 2013 Award. State Senate presented Induz with 10-years of recognition by Senator Ellen Corbett while a proclamation was presented by Anu Natarajan on behalf of the City of Fremont.

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award is an honorary award presented to citizens who achieved the required service hours in a 12-month period. The youth ambassadors were presented with this award for their leadership and service to the community.
